"As an artist, you are trained to observe and think about the world in a novel way. It is an artist’s job to take that new idea or way of seeing and express it through art. Those same observational, critical thinking, and creative skills learned in the arts can be applied in the sciences and I believe are very helpful to be a better physician.”
